Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
This treatment asserts the connections between your neurological processes, language and behavioral patterns learned through experience. Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR)
EMDR is a technique to address and treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Phobias, and addictions. It is believed that when a person experiences a traumatic event, the information is not being processed in both hemisphere’s of the brain, causing ‘flashbacks’, and avoidance of the trauma, situations, places, etc which may be associated with it.
By utilizing bi-lateral stimulation (using both sides of the brain), relaxation techniques, talk therapy, and most importantly a trained practitioner, who processes the information into both hemisphere’s of the brain, leaving the memory of the trauma, without the psychological effects.
